The Rt Rev John Mason Harden, DD (born 1871; died 1931 [1]) was an Irish cleric and educator who later served as the 7th Bishop of Tuam, Killala, and Achonry from 1927 to 1931[2].
Educated at Trinity College, Dublin [3] and ordained in 1898, his first post was a curacy at St Matthew’s, Dublin [4]. He was then Chaplain of the Female Orphan House, Dublin, the Principal of the Training College of Lusitanian Church, Headmaster of Kilkenny College, Vice Principal of the London College of Divinity, and finally, Chaplain and Headmaster of the The King's Hospital, Dublin before elevation to the Episcopate.
